Title: Tools for massive biology at SciLifeLab

Abstract: Science for Life Laboratory (SciLifeLab) is a national resource center dedicated to large scale bioscientific research with focus on biomedicine, including genome and proteome profiling, bioimaging and bioinformatics. SciLifeLab Stockholm was founded through a joint effort by the three Stockholm universities, Royal Institute of Technology, Karolinska Institutet and Stockholm University. SciLifeLab also hosts the national center for massive DNA sequencing (SNISS). This lecture will discuss work at SciLifeLab and also demonstrate the use of the NGS platforms.
