 and virulence factors\, which can benefit the functioning and growth of no
 t only themselves but also other individuals in their surroundings. I'll d
 iscuss how the functional form of this benefit affects the decision of whe
 ther to turn on or turn off production of the common good\, and how commun
 ication between bacteria may then become crucial for making such decisions

 iption factor kinetics'</strong><br /><strong>Andreas Grönlund\,</strong> 
 UPSC\, Umeå University<br /><br />Basic physical constraints in how macrom
 olecules are made and how fast they can find each other in the intracellul
 ar environment constrain the fidelity of cellular regulation. These two pr
 operties are recently studied experimentally as well as analytically. I wi
 ll give a brief overview of how such processes can be characterized and mo
